For these thoughts are so new
You may feel yourself like writing too...
Do not fear if they do not meet your personal fancy
Poetry speaks most readily to a fool
It likes a mind in a state of infancy
sucking up the world like a sponge in a pool
And do not think me a master
A wordsman
A mage
I take pen to paper
expand
down the page
In hopes that some eyes be like magnets
that burst into flames as they gaze!
